Force and Motion update- UNIT TEST THURSDAY!
We've been busy in science class last week!
On Tuesday we completed our activity 85 crash test dummies- noting where sensors should be placed to protect internal organs. All classes completed the notebook check from Friday.
On Wednesday, students made observations on center of mass and how it can affect roll over in our green SEPUP cart. HW was the egg lab pre-lab questions.
Thursday was an EGGcellent day. We combined classes and constructed a cart that would protect an egg during a collision. Your egg packet counts for a lab grade in both science and math classes.
On Friday, we did activity 87, analyzing two data tables on how car type and accident type can cause fatalities.
See documents below.
Today, we did the last activity in our force and motion unit. Activity 88: Safety for All, focused on four people (Hope, Damion, Wilma, and Hugo) and their opinions on whether all cars should be made the same to prevent fatalities in accidents. HW tonight is to make sure the entire activity sheet is complete- (see below) including analysis 1 and 2.

Tomorrow and Wednesday we will be reviewing for Thursday's Force and Motion Exam! Study every night!
